You're blessed!



Don't overlook these gifts,some don't possess them and wish they did.



We take our blessings for granted sometimes.



We even get depressed and mad for not having material things.



They are of no real importance. Can't take them with you.



You need a check up from the neck up if you ever find yourself upset,depressed or mad over material possessions.



It's an awesome surreal moment when you reach this understanding with yourself.



If someone judges you or wants to be around you because of the things you possess or the position you hold,they are really not someone you want around.



Will these same people cease to be friendly if you go bankrupt or lose your job?



Is that really a friend you want?



You are many things,you have many qualities and attributes that have nothing to do with financial or material means.



If you are a good person,have a good heart,wish well for others and now God's love you are truly blessed already.

We all know that everyone doesn't see things the same way.




Different people will see things different ways.



A person's perception has a lot to do with their upbringing,what they have learned and seen,and alot has to do with personality in general.



But the truth is the truth no gray area in that.



You can put whatever spin or slant on any issue to make it go your way,or to make you seem righteous or correct.



That's where spin doctors come from,trying to spin the ugly truth into something not so ugly.



Some people try to spin things their way or in their favor.It may last for a minute but the truth always surfaces.Then comes another spin to spin that.



But the truth is what it is the truth.



Alot of people don't want to face the truth or own up to their actions.



You can agree to disagree on many things but the truth isn't one of them.



So don't get caught up in a whirliwnd and get disoriented.



Stand firm in your truth.

The Box

Let me tell you about "The Box"




When you go through something that hurt you mentally,physically and emotionally you have scars.



These scars will eventually heal on the surface but the internal damage may not heal for decades.



The memories will surface at the oddest moments and you are right back at that moment.



Well in "The Box" I keep mementos of such events.



Good and bad alike trinkets of the experience.



The Box use to contain only ugly events so that I could remember to stay away from the people and avoid the events to ever happen again.



Now The Box is also filled with very joyous mementos to remind me how good God is and that He will bring you from the lowest of lows to the highest of highs.



I have the hospital bracelet from my son's birth and also the hospital bracelet from when I was diagnosed with MS.



When I am feeling the slightest bit down looking through this box makes me happy,glad and powerful!



It's a reminder that God's got me, so there's no need to worry about a thing.



Don't worry about a thing,Every little things gonna be alright!!!

Mine has turned out to be photography. Which is funny because I took photography in school but it was film.

Don't get me wrong,there is nothing wrong with using quotes for motivation or affirmation.




Some quotes fit exactly where the need to be and are right on time.



But you still need to manifest your own philosophy for your life.

Everything moves so fast these days,it's enough to make your head spin.

People rushing,speeding,moving so fast and still not getting anywhere or accomplishing little to nothing.

Just slow down.

Things are still simple, we just make them complex.

A lot of things are common and universal and simple.

You need to eat,work,rest,excercise,live,love,laugh and die.

In a lifetime you will do all of the above.

But how they are done and enjoyed vary from person to person.

We all need to enjoy our lives and live to the fullest.

Yes, it's really just that simple.

People go their whole life questioning the circumstances in which they find themselves. Asking why me this,why me that.

It's simple it's the way it's suppose to be for you,it's "The Luck Of The Draw!"

I'm a firm believer in many things, but realize all things aren't for all people.

Even common sense issues,some people's senses aren't common.We all march to our own drummer and string section in a tune made just for us. You keep that beat just  for you. While somethings are universal....

1)  "All things happen for a reason."

2) "God doesn't put more on you than you can handle."

3) "If it doesn't kill you,it will make you stronger."

4) "If it causes any pain or discomfort,remove it,amputate it, just get rid of it."

5) "Whatever will be.will be."


Sometimes people get caught up in things.

Wondering why some people have so much and others so little. It's mind blowing,but not  really if you put it in perspective.

You know sometimes we look at the wrong things and ignore the obvious.

Example:  Joe Jackson wanted the best for his children. He raised them with a dynamic work ethic and with the knowledge that they were going to be the best, they did.But exactly at what price?

Example:  You're envious of a woman because she has a nicer home than yours,nicer clothes than yours,you think that because she's driving a nice new car she's got it going on. While behind closed doors she's suffering from some unimaginable goings on in her life that maybe you could not handle.

Example: You're envious of a man because he has a fine wife,fine home and fine children.While behind closed doors,he's stressing,his wife is nagging and his kids are off the chain terrible.Not to mention the economy,his job and health issues.

So the next time you think the grass is greener for someone else,also think about how blessed you are.

Be happy God's given you sight,hearing,movement and a powerful mind.

But most of all...............LIFE!!!!!

"What's Really Real?"

Everyone says they are real or keeping it real,but what is real for you may not be real for another.

Everyone's view or opinion will still vary depending on many contributing factors. A person's demographic and geographic elements play a vital part in one's outlook.Also adding in one's home life and upbringing all determine a person's perception of life and situations.

Different perceptions of the same situation are sometimes amazing but also scary. You would be dumbfounded of how many different reactions you can receive from the same action  from different people.
Everyone is going to see the action differently, based on their own perception,own life experiences,individual perferences and personality.

Thus being said you have to learn to agree to disagree, and also know subjects never to go overboard on,like church,politics and somone's children or family.

Many  friendships and relationships has been lost over such  subjects.

Sometimes people even attack those subjects just to be rid that person all together. Maybe this person or issue always causes drama. Whenever this person or issue comes up it's problems and the person or issue only gets worse.more draining,and more dramatic. Common sense tells you to leave it alone,to stay away,get away and leave it be.But because we are compassionate by nature we want to help,and sometimes that's the downfall.

Sometimes it doesn't pay to be nice, people take your kindness for weakness. Or just think you are stupid and that they mean more to you than yourself.  Silly,silly people no one is more important to me than me.
I have paid friends rent,paid friends car notes,bought friends groceries,taken friends on trips,paid for hotel rooms,etc.Only to be told I'm not a friend or I don't know what friendship really is. Wow,it's funny what people will say when they find out you will no longer allow them to use you,or even be in your presence.

What's funnier is that my Real Friends have never asked me for a dime or even taken it when offered,and if you know me you know I offer alot.

This was a life lesson well learned and earned.

If someone's friendship changes with health or wealth it isn't a friendship at all.

That's what's really real!!

"Meditate To Elevate!"

Meditate to elevate.

Yes, this is very essential coming into the realm of self-awareness.

Meditation is a very helpful tool that can be used with very good results. But as with any skill you must practice as much as possible.

Breathing and meditation go hand in hand, and when used together and mastered the results are amazing.

You can use this skill in many areas of life and they will prove very benefical.

I meditate often during the day anytime I have a free 20+ minutes, I meditate. It's gonna take practice to build up your time but 5 minutes to start is good.

For energy:


You are going to clear your mind of everything. Breathe deeply, in thru your nose and out thru your mouth.

Now think back to when you were a child,all the energy you had you could run and play all day and never get tired. Wow that felt good,just running and playing free, full of energy.Laughing,running,jumping having fun,full of energy. Focus on that visual,breathe,focus how healthy you felt back then,how you loved to run,focus on the energy.

Carry this with you during the day.

When you feel a little run down or growing alittle weary.

Find yourself a little quiet spot and take 5-10 minutes out to do you.

Meditate to elevate!

To get you thinking and moving in the right direction!!

Visualize all that you want out of life,then claim it!!

Start making the correct steps toward what you want.

And please believe all wants and needs are not material things.

Some people just want everyone to be happy,everyone to feel joy and everyone to life out their dreams!

"Throwing Caution To The Wind!"

We've all heard that metaphor,what does it really mean?

It means putting everything that you know to the side and proceeding anyway without caution,carelessly,with reckless abandon.

But can you really do that?

Throwing everything you've been taught,molded,and raised to follow to the left and just going for what you don't know.

It's not that easy,as a matter of fact it's darn hard and scary.

But sometimes it's the only way to go in order to live out your dreams and manifest your destiny.

You do have to take some precautions.


1) Have a backup plan/a plan B
2) Find a mentor in the area of your interest
3) Do your research on all areas,pro and cons, checks and balances.
4) Know your resources

Once your armed with the knowledge and information that you need....

Go for it!!!!

But what does that really mean?

Does it make your cause or point more valid because more people hear it?

Does it lose some of it's importance if not heard by many?


It's not always what you say, but how you say it. If said with truth,compassion, conviction and determination it may be heard by few,but the reaction may still be many.

Word of mouth is a very beautiful thing,espeically when heard by the right people.Some people like myself spread good news and good intentions.Anyone doing positive things is beautiful and I like to pass it on.It may not help me but it may help someone I know, or a friend of a friend of a friend.

So always remember to have your say. Good people maybe listening!!

"Getting It In!!!"

Getting it in means exactly what it says.

Getting in everything you need to do. Not want to do,but have to do. With that being said. Once you have accomplished all that you need to do,you have made room for what it is you want to do. That's your reward!!!

You just have to prioritize what is wants and needs. Once you have truly determined these issues,your plan of attack becomes cruise control.You will realize that now that you see things alittle different you can plan and attack alittle different.What's so different,NO STRESS!!! You can develop a plan to address all the needs,thus making more time to focus on your wants and what makes you truly happy!

A Clear View!!!!

There are many religions and beliefs. They all have many followers. They all have certain protocals and  rituals.

Who is to say which one is correct? Who is to say which one isn't correct?

Years ago I was introduced to The Church of Scientology, through "Dianetics" a book by it's founder Ron Hubbard.

I did not really get into it,but I did come away with a firm belief in myself. I can't say if that is what I was suppose to gain but that is what I gained. A firm belief that I can accomplish anything because the mind is a very powerful thing.

In the book "Dianetics they speak of  "The Clear",I don't know if my thinking is exactly what they had in mind but it has worked for me. Through reading the book and really understanding where it was coming from I felt a peace, and overwhelming sense of fulfilment that from that day on there was nothing I could not handle. A sense of knowing that God  has given me all the tools I need to live a happy,healthy life. That I can manifest any destiny I choose and long as I believe.

Once you see things clearly, you can move obstacles out of your way.

Achieving this mindset has proven to be very,very good for me.

Raising The Bar!!!

We have routines,rituals or programs we do in life to achieve results.Sometimes these steps are well defined and other times they are not.Sometimes you must step outside of the box,away from the norm to accomplish your dreams.

That's raising the bar!

Going out on faith,guts and true determination.Standing true to your values,beliefs,and intergrity. And most importantly true to you.

It is so easy to be swayed today with so many negative and destrucitve distractions.It is easy for someone to lose one's way.But if your values and beliefs are deep, eventually you'll snap out of it and go on your journey.

Raise the bar in all areas of your life!!

Always Look Ahead!!!

You must always look ahead,forward into the future.

Sometimes people get bogged down in the past,forever dwelling in what already has happened and totally ignoring the future ahead of them and moving on.You can not change what has already happened,so the outcome will always be  as it is.

In order to move forward you  have to let it go.

Find some sort of closure to the situation so that you may progress with your future.You may not always get the closure you want but you can certainly do something to help you break through.You may not always get the answers you want,but you can find closure in the answers you receive.You may need closure w/someone whom has passed or someone whom has wronged you or that you have wronged.

The only closure you really need is to forgive yourself and get over it.

If the situation arises and you encounter that person/persons,you face it as you see it at that time.You may address it or you may not.

Once You Know,You Grow!!

People come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime. When you figure out which it is, you know exactly what to do.

When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed outwardly or inwardly. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a God send, and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrong doing on your part or an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up or out and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fullfilled; their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and it is now time to move on.

When people come into your life for a SEASON, it is because your turn has come to share, grow, or learn. They may bring you experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it! It is real! But...only for a season.

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons; those things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person/people (anyway); and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.

The PRESENT is the gift from God that you receive when he puts someone in your life, whether it be for 5 seconds, five years or fifty years. God doesn`t promise us any certain time with someone and it`s what we make of that time that is our gift from God That`s why we call it the PRESENT. So enjoy the PRESENT from God.Thank you for being a part of my life. May God hold you in the palm of His hand and Angels watch over you..

Staying Focused!

It's very easy to fall off the path you have charted for yourself.It's not that you intend to fall off or that you lack motivation. Sometimes life has obstacles that push us in another direction.We will sometimes find ourselves in situations that we have no control over, but it's still a problem you must help resolve.

Thus you have a dream deferred.Note that I said deferred.

Sometimes having alittle time to mature and grow as a person helps you better focus on what you want and really need.Sometimes just taking a break to clear your mind of clutter is healthy.To clear your mind of clutter, you first must recognize what clutter is.Clutter is any thought that runs thru your mind that has nothing to do with you.Once you start recognizing clutter, you can stop those thoughts from entering and taking space in your mind.Once you have recognized clutter and cleared clutter you are free to focus on  your wants,desires needs and dreams.Using all the energy from the clutter to focus on your goals!!!

Remember goals aren't achieved overnight.Just staypositive, focused,determined and optimistic!
